Romans 8:37-39, "Despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God's love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow - not even the powers of hell can separate us from God's love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below - indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord."
This passage took on new meaning for me this week as I dealt with my teens. I realized that no matter how they mess up, while I am definitely concerned about their well being, it doesn't affect my deep and desperate love for them. If as an imperfect person, I feel that depth of unconditional love for my children, I cannot even begin to comprehend how God loves me.
No matter what. I am awed.

I definitely think my parents learned that one with all our "trials" too!
Love that passage. You're a great mom.
